Proposed Changes to Constitution

ARTICLE VI - GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS

1. General Membership Meetings shall be held monthly.

2. Time and place shall be set by the Executive Committee to be announced in the previous edition of the Newsletter and/or meeting and posted on the website.

ARTICLE IX - AMENDMENTS

1. A draft proposal for an amendment to the Constitution must be presented to ACSA at a regularly scheduled meeting at least one month preceding the vote.

2. Notification of the proposed amendment(s) shall be published in a newsletter on the website for a minimum of 14 days preceding the vote.

ARTICLE X - BOARD OF TRUSTEES

9. Limits to Power and Authority The Board of Trustees shall have the power of veto over any expenditure that the Trustees deem is not in the best interest of the Association. A veto action must be approved by at least two of the three Trustees. A Board veto of the proposed expenditure shall be published in the newsletter and on the association's website. At the next regular meeting after publication, the general membership shall vote on the same. An override vote must carry two thirds majority of the members present.

Article XI: Membership Privileges

Each membership classification shall be entitled to the following privileges:

One free newsletter subscription

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

One free newsletter subscription

FULL MEMBER

One free newsletter subscription

Proposed Changes to By-Laws

AMENDMENTS A proposal for an amendment to the bylaws must be presented to the ACSA membership at a regularly scheduled meeting at least one month preceding the vote. Notification of the amendment(s) shall be published in a newsletter on the website for a minimum of 14 days preceding the vote.
