GENERAL MEETING (...future of the club)

To the Membership of the ACSA,

This is an important message from your Executive Committee, regarding the future of the Association. Please take the time to carefully read through this letter, and if you care about the future of the ACSA, we need you to show your support. This coming Monday, October 1, is the next regular monthly membership meeting to be held at the Pavilion. As you know, temperatures remain comfortable to hold it there. Your E.C. has vital positions which are about to go vacant. They MUST be filled with new people willing to step up and ensure that your Association continue to function and thrive. If you value having your sailboat here next season... if you want to see the ACSA continue successfully, YOUR ATTENDANCE this coming Monday at 7:00 p.m. is essential. Attendance by registered members has been far less than half of us in the last several months. This Monday it is crucial that you hear what is going to keep your Association functioning in the coming year alone, not to mention the immediate years to follow. I wouldn't be writing to you if this was not a critical time for you to SHOW your support by attending and carefully listening, this coming Monday. Thank you for your time. Let's all be active members of the ACSA.
