Facility Closure

It's that bittersweet time of yearboats are tucked away, and the marina needs its winter coat. But here's the silver lining: we get one more day together at Alum Creek!

When: Sunday, Nov 8th
Facility Close-Down: 10 AM
Fuel for the Crew: Coffee & donuts provided

• What's on the To-Do List? We have a few projects to tackle as we get everything ready for winter!
  • Install bubblers to help keep ice away from the docks
  • Shut off the water system to prevent pipes from freezing
  • Move all boats into the pavilion
  • Clean the bathrooms
  • Tidy up the gardens near the bathhouse
  • Take care of general yard work and gardening
  • Clean out the refrigerators
  Rain Date: If the weather doesn't cooperate, our backup date will be Sunday, November 15th.Thanks in advance to everyone who can lend a hand! Every bit of help makes a difference.

We Need:

• Volunteers for facility close-up

Bring:

• Sturdy rake (metal preferred)
• Garden shoes/boots & gloves
• Your best "many hands make light work" attitude

So, while we can't sail, we can make the marina shine and spend a beautiful day with our sailing family. Hope to see you there!
