1995 Catalina 14.2 with trailer
SOLD
Where? Alum Creek Sailing/Acres Aweigh storage
1995 Catalina 14.2 has been well maintained and stored indoors during the off-season.
In 2022, we prepped the hull and applied five coats of Interlux epoxy and four coats of Interlux Pacifica Plus Ablative antifouling. No zebra mussels or other “things” have attached to themselves to the hull. New striping was applied after painting the hull. There are a few scuffs and “spider” cracks.
She has a furling jib and mainsail which are still in good condition.
May 2024: All new lines. A new masthead sheave was also installed in the mast.
The small storage area has a cover that snaps on.
A motor mount made specifically for the Catalina 14.2 was installed in August 2024 (thank you Anthony and Frederick). Battery cables with a breaker are long enough to run from the motor to the storage area where we keep the battery. We are not selling the battery as it will work on our new sailboat.
Trailer is in good condition and all lights work.
Extra goodies included with your new sailboat: 1 new mast step (value $40); 1 centerboard gasket set (value $57) and the remainder of the Interlux Pacifica Plus ablative antifouling paint (approximately 1/2 gallon).
Electric Trolling Motor for the Capri 14.2 – Minn Kota Endura 50lb thrust electric trolling motor with 42" shaft and built-in battery meter. The motor was purchased this season and used approximately 10 times. We will sell the motor with the boat (add $190 to the boat price; original retail $260). If the new owner does not want the motor, we will sell it separately for $190.
