ACSA is an association of sailors with various types of vessels (mono-hulls, multi-hulls and sailboards). Ours is a social organization that promotes sailing activities and enjoyment of the sport of sailing. Throughout the sailing season, we are active in sponsoring regattas, picnics, night sails and weekend trips to neighboring lakes, including Lake Erie. But we don’t stop there. In the off-season, we get together regularly for activities, fun times, and weather permitting, even a little ice sailing! We concentrate on two things: fellowship and enjoyment of this great sport.
The club has two types of memberships:
- Full membership: For individuals or families that own a sailing craft, sailing primarily on Alum Creek.
- Associate membership: For individuals that do not own a sailboat, or individuals interested in getting involved with the club that have larger boats on Lake Erie.

Our harbor is located on Alum Creek State Park off Lewis Center Road just off Old State Road (Rt. 10). Follow the signs to the "Sailing Marina" area. Click here to get a map of directions to the marina location. This is where you will find most of our members on weekends and evenings during the sailing season. Here, on the west side of the lake, you and your family and friends can enjoy boating, picnicking and social activities.
The marina has parking, restroom and shower facilities, and a new shelter house. Alum Creek is a 3,400 acre reservoir surrounded by more than 5,000 acres of state park, camping, and the largest inland swimming beach in Ohio.
Located just 25 miles northeast of Columbus and 12 miles southeast of Delaware, Alum Creek is a great recreation area.
If you have any questions about the club, please don't hesitate to contact the membership chair or one of the other officers. We will do our best to answer any questions you may have.
