The Founder's Da party was a wonderful weekend of activities shared by present members, their guests, and many who returned to Alum Creek to see what has gone on since their days sailing here!
With the help of many people, we received a huge a,mount of information to start off our History Book begining a written trail accompanied by many photographs for us to enjoy and for future members to nderstand how this club came about.
We also have a small collection of CDs and DVDs given to us by several members for us to enjoy again at events in the future....we would definitely like to add to this.
We are also continuing to gather articles, phtos .... anything directed towards expanding the informatuion we have about the history of our club..... documenting our progress through the years. "Sailors' Sagas" is an interesting and entertaining part of our history book, providing us with a glimpse of the diverse people who have formed a community because of their love of sailing!
Please join those sailors who have already submitted stories, photos, and memories of their days sailing on
Alum Creek.

If man must be obsessed by something ,I suppose a boat is as good as anything, perhaps a bit better than most. A small sailing craft is not only beautiful, it is seductive and full of strange promise and the hint of trouble.
